Emotional Intelligence has been described as the ability to understand, interpret, and adapt to the emotions of others, while also able to express and control our own emotions.  People’s lives outside the office and their emotions do affect their productivity, ability to work as a team, and their interpersonal interactions. Leading Effective Teams
