Project Management Principles: Adaptable Approaches for Executing Projects (Of Any Size!)

This highly interactive two-day course provides a foundational understanding of project management principles with emphasis on how these principles can be applied to low and medium complexity projects and/or projects performed in non-traditional project environments.

This course is an excellent introduction to project management for “non-PM’s” who are actively preparing or managing projects. Participants will learn both the technical and interpersonal soft skills needed to effectively execute projects, lead and participate on project teams, and engage stakeholders. While some theory will be conveyed, the emphasis will be on real-world application and practice.

You will learn:

  • Specific approaches and strategies to improve project results
  • Project management terms and concepts
  • How key project principles can be adapted if planning time is limited, the project timeline is very short, or the project complexity is low.
