This course walks through the selection, acquisition, and vendor performance management processes to ensure your projects are being delivered on-time, within budget, and with the scope and quality you expect. Course participants will work through the request for bid process and the three stages of vendor management: preparation, selection/acquisition, and management. Through interactive discussions and exercises, participants will complete a vendor selection simulation, learn to work with vendors to get feedback about scope, schedules, and costs, and apply best practices and techniques.
