Handling and Managing Change

Coping with change is frequently cited as a major source of stress in the workplace for staff at all levels.

It does not have to be this way.

In this course, participants will identify ways to solve problems related to change on the job, including recognizing, anticipating, and effectively coping with change.

Participants will also define change management, learn about change management strategies, learn the psychological process of moving through change, determine ways of preparing for change, and lastly, explore ways to embrace ongoing change.

This thought-provoking program reveals how people’s common reactions to change typically increase stress levels and what can be done to overcome this tension. Participants will learn how to transform their own situation into a positive one, as well as how to manage their emotions for the good of both themselves and the organization.

In this course, you will learn how to:

  • Deal with the stress associated with change
  • Overcome resistance to change
  • Develop skills for facilitating change
