TPG's first trip to the PMI Congress was a huge success.  We generated some noise in the exhibit hall with our imfamous "I Herd Cats" button!  Larry Winters delivered a stellar presentation that was nominated for an encore and featured by one of the top project management bloggers - click here to read the blog entry.  And our in-booth presentations were perpetually well-attended by numerous, self-proclaimed  "TPG groupies."

To those who attended the Congress, we thoroughly enjoyed meeting you and look forward to seeing you again next year.  Whether you stopped by our exhibit and grabbed an "I Herd Cats" button, saw Larry Winters's Deadliest Catch presentation, or rode a coaster with us at Universal Studios, we invite you to contact us to learn more about how our services can help your organization.

Larry Winters Presentation at the PMI Congress Honored with "Encore" Nomination
October 12, 2009

Throughout 2009 we have talked about TPG Project Management Practice Leader Larry Winters being selected to present at the PMI Global Congress 2009.  Being selected as a presenter is a great honor in the project management profession and is the result of a rigorous application and selection process.  Because we have given the event so much attention we wanted to follow up and share with you that Larry's session, Deadliest Catch: Risk Identification on the Vast Bering Sea, was a great success.  In fact, Larry was honored with a nomination to present the "encore" session.  Of the 160 presenters, only 6 received this nomination.  We are extremely proud of Larry and hope that those of you who attended enjoyed the session as much as we enjoyed sharing it with you.  For more information on the session and our full 2-day Deadliest Catch-themed risk management course, click here

OAA Summit a Huge Success

June 18, 2009

TPG would like to salute the Oklahoma Aerospace Alliance (OAA) on an excellent 2009 OAA Summit and Expo event.  We thoroughly enjoyed attending the conference and were proud to support the OAA by sponsoring their golf tournment and exhibiting in the event's vendor area (see picture below).  Bill Fournet and Larry Winters also presented a breakout session on project management for continuous improvement initiatives that was well received by the aerospace industry participants.  We met a lot of great people this week and we look forwarding to speaking with all of you very soon.  Oklahoma's aerospace industry is truly thriving and we are proud to do our part to support it.
